Brother Ali Mirza

Ali Mirza, born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan, studied biochemistry at the University of Michigan – Dearborn, with a minor in philosophy. Drawn by the intricate world of the gut microbiome and its impact on health, Ali completed a Master’s degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. His passion led him to the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, where he achieved a PhD in bioinformatics with a keen emphasis on microbiome research in people with multiple sclerosis. Now residing in Vancouver, Ali contributes his expertise to IMPACTT, Canada’s premier microbiome research core. Throughout most of his life, Ali has continuously sought knowledge of Allah and Islam, driven by his overarching life goal: to be a true servant of Allah.
