With our lives always being on the go and a daily norm that is overburdened with schedules, deadlines, expectations, and constant demands, our priorities have changed along with our way of life. Islam, a graceful message that engulfs every aspect of our life and brings ease to the burdened hearts, is at times lost in the background as we attempt to play catch up to life. With our creator’s promise and words we are reminded “Whatever you have will end, but what Allah has is lasting. And We will surely give those who were patient their reward according to the best of what they used to do. Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer – We will surely cause him to live a GOOD/PEACEFUL LIFE, and We will surely give them their reward according to the best of what they used to do. (Holy Quran 16/96-97).” Join us this December as we come together from various parts of the United States and Canada to take a break from the unforgiving demands of life, and gear to reconnect with the Almighty Lord on what it means to live in his presence and truly embed a lifestyle of peaceful living that we carry back with us to better our lives.
